More fun this year: campsite added, festival land expanded, performance quality upgraded

This year’s CMV will add a third stage, besides the Yue Stange and Gu Stage. The audience field will be twice the size of last year. We will effectively use the wide grass land to arrange the audience averagely instead of focusing on one spot too much. The audience of Gu Stage just need to turn around to watch toe performance on Yue Stage. Meanwhile, in order to make up the regret of not being able to do camping onsite, CMV will especially open the 5000 m2 camping site this year. Besides, CMV is also going to open the trailers site for trailer owners to drive there and camp onsite. Fans can come onsite after work on Friday night. Several famous Beijing DJs will play and bring the pre-party for the big CMV Festival. Plus, CMV will have outdoor cinema after the main shows everyday. CMV crossing over with famous European fashion brand ONLY, launching the limited T-shirt together This year’s CMV Festival is also working with ONLY, the establishing European fashion brand from BESTSELLER Fashion Group. The 2 brands launched the crossing over limited T-Shirt on the press conference together. The slogan on the T-shirt “ONLY LOVES MUSIC” also express the emotion of this year’s fans of CMV Festival: We only love music! At the back of the T-shirt, all the signatures of this year’s artists will also be printed on it. ONLY will also set up a tent of about 200 m2 onsite for the interactive activities with the audience.

Over time, cities around the globe that host large-scale electronic music festivals have become internationally famous focal points for young people. Events of this genre provide an ideal open platform for social and civic progress, often inspiring countless forms of creativity. Prime examples include the Berlin Love Parade, SONAR in Barcelona, and the Detroit Electronic Music Festival. Festival-goers come together from around the world, regardless of race and without borders, to share in a common language of electronic music. Full of celebratory spirit, they dance, play, and enjoy a festive atmosphere, full of love and peace. For many years we have been looking forward to a electronic music festival of our own in China and INTRO Beijing Festival has now filled the blank perfectly.

INTRO painted a picture of thousands of young faces smiling and laughing, from different regions and ethnic groups. The success of this young festival is marked by its attendance and production, in addition to the widespread positive feedback received from its audience and both the international and local media; revealing INTRO as a worthy endeavor to enhance Beijing’s contemporary culture and community.

Sitting in the back of Beijing’s culture and art center 798 Art Zone, D-Park is an area with the size over 40,000 square meters. The scattered orderly industrial plants, crisscross pipelines, and slogans of different eras on the wall together create a fascinating montage of history and reality. Many major art exhibitions, cultural events and fashion shows are held here, which attract political importance, movie stars and social celebrities worldwide. As the only Bauhausstyle architecture remaining from the past century, its industrial feeling fits in perfectly.
